I Hate Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo is one of the worst banks ever. No free online bill pay, I don’t like their online banking, and the people that work there are not the brightest in the world. I wanted to connect my business checking with my personal checking online which is 100% possible… however when I asked about doing it 3 people told me you can’t. I told them it’s possible, my friends do it, and I urged them to call their ‘employee support’ line which they did… and then they handed me the phone. That’s a bit odd since I’m not an employee there, but anyway… I give my bank account, address, ssn, and a few other things to each person I spoke with (4 people) until the 4th person said I’m not authorized to make decisions on my business account since I’m not the point of contact. What the hell is up with that? Thanks for wasting an hour and a half of my time you stupid fockers.

    Here’s my story;
    The plans to use my Home Equity account $35K fell through so I did not use the loan. After receiving the annual fee notice I went back to my Wells Fargo branch for an explanation. My wife and I were not aware of this annual fee, and also there were no documentation that I had in my folder on opening a New Home Equity loan regarding annual fee. The branch was at fault and could not prove they gave any info verbal or hardcopy regarding annual fee. The lady could not even find the paper that was missing out of my folder to show me what it looked like.

    After they would not help me I closed my two checking accounts and savings accounts with Wells Fargo.

    I called Wells Fargo at 1-866-735-1618 about my Home Equity loan after being transfered 3 times 1/2 hr later I talked to Kurt. 3-20-08. 9:45am.
    Told him my story.

    Kurt wouldn’t help me, would not wave the 3 years of annual fees $225. I do wish to use the Home Equity loan, if I can have the annual fees waved. What if I don’t pay you?

    Kurt said “Wells Fargo will have a lien on your house if you don’t pay us off.”

    Terrible customer service from Kurt.

    Not helping me is not a positive move for anyone. Is this the response Wells Fargo is going to stand with? Pay us off for not using your loan or we will put a lien on your house? I e-mailed customer service same day.
    RESPONSE:

    Dear Dave:

    We would be pleased to fulfill your request. However, because your incoming email was not a secured means of communication, we ask that you take a few minutes to sign on to your secure banking session and re-send us your request. Yah I was stupid enough to spend more time at this trying to talk with a faceless, no compassion, customer service-less, greedy company. I had hope but later found the ’secure message’ Hey you signed a contract and there is a annual fee, if you want we can send a copy of the contract to you. Wow that really DOESN”T help me. Thanks for not listening - WellsFokers!
