I got a strange call from phone number 4149629898 and it was a recording in Spanish. Not only that, it was computer generated so it sounded all crazy like a possessed demon! I did not press numero uno! I just hung up. But I’m not the only one! Apparently it saying I won some dinero, whoa! I’m not alone, here’s a disucusson at WhoCallsMe and WhoCalledUs. But I don’t care about their money, I’m waiting to win the Publishers Clearing House!

also got a call from this number, but did not even answer it. found your blog by googling the 414 number — you were the 2nd or 3rd entry displayed.
i don’t wish for anyone to be stuck anywhere, but it’s a comfort to know that i’m not the only person feeling self-exiled in the land of corn, football, no large bodies of water and not much diversion (nebraska, though, not iowa). i often dream about the pacific and being surrounded by surly people who talk too fast, when they stop to talk at all.

Received a call from this number lastnight on my Cell phone while making dinner. It was also in Spanish, so I hung up. I called it back today & it says # has been disconnected or no longer in service. I’m in Seattle, WA
I just got this call at work. I saw it on the display phone. I just said hello but there was no response. they didn’t hang up either because because the number stayed on the display. I hung up.
I too just received the call @ 10:45am in Los Angeles. I’ve received it a few times over the past few months and it’s the same thing over and over. Ditto… I just received a call from this number also (in Spanish). When you attempt to dial the number back… You get a recording stating that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.
Today was the third time in a week. I haven’t answered but when I call back it says it’s disconnected. I’m in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
My number has been registered under donotcal.gov and get phone calls from this number at least once a week with the same Spanish recording.
Quite irritating.

Yeah I got a call from that number too. I was sleeping between classes. I didn’t set my alarm. It woke me up in enough time for me to get to sociology on time. If it weren’t for that number I wouldn’t have made it to class on time. I take it as a miracle from a demonic, Hispanic presence.

Got a call on my cell at 11:12am, Amarillo, TX. I was in the shower and missed the call. Shame.
Got a call from this number today (9/10/10). Recorded voice was female and spoke Spanish. I just hung up. Found this website and wanted to add my info. I’m located in Boulder, CO (fires are now under control – whew!).
Got a call from it this morning at 11:45-ish. Woke me up, but I didn’t recognise the number, so I didn’t answer and just went back to sleep. I’m in a small town in Tampa, Florida.
I got a call from the same tel# as the rest of you. My tel# is registered with the DoNotCall.gov registry – so I should not be getting any of these types of calls at all.
In any event, I went to the do not call registry and filed a complaint against it. If enough of us file complaints, maybe the government can shut these boneheads down.
